Hometown Fair

I've been working a lot on my technique these past couple months to match an aesthetic that I have in mind and this new piece is the culmination of that. I feel it's a bit different from the previous work I've done but I like the new direction and I'm excited to see where this takes me.

Here, I like to imagine the old couple coming back to their hometown fair for the first time since they were young. It's one of the few things in town that the locals have managed to keep open year after year. Also, if you look on the shelves, there is a little Easter egg for fans of Bill Watterson who has always been a big inspiration for me. Hope you enjoy!
